Back in 2008, I went to record the last song for my album “Lost Together” in LA with Brand New Heavies singer N’Dea Davenport. My friend and engineer Chuck Brungardt was kind enough to let us use Raphael Saadiq’s studio where he worked out of in Studio City. After the recording and an impressive tour of the facility, Chuck blasted this new artist they had just produced in the (very) Loud Speakers in the Mixing Room. The singer’s name was 19 year old CJ Hilton. A full album of inspired soul throwback material was set for a release but eventually shamefully shelved by the label leaving these tracks unknown for the rest of us. Before the project was put to bed, I submitted a remix for his track “I’m Losing You” that never saw the light of day.

As a token for my appreciation for the support on my social medias, I decided to let the track out as a free download for a limited time only.
